00 gauge Somerset and Dorset Luggage Van.

Recently I found several elderly Tri-ang/Hornby clerestory coaches and roofs. The coach bodies , with the exception of one, had all been modified but none finished.

One was a full brake or luggage van which I was going to use for a LSWR vehicle. 

But, on taking a longer look, my mind changed and I thought it would make a fitting addition to my rake of Somerset & Dorset clerestory coaches.

So out with the paint and after painting blue and the ends matt black stickers were added. 

A couple of clerestory roofs were cut down and joined and the result is a good looking luggage van. Just needs numbering and varnishing and then the windows, SE Finecast, can be fitted.
