4mm figures on a couple of layouts.

A few scenes from a couple of layouts today.

The top couple are from St Mewan whilst the third is from Quarry Siding.

Not a fan of figures in mid stride so all are cameo scenes.

Whilst other areas of railway modelling progresses there seems a dearth of figures- some are produced by makers who do not have a web presence.

  1. I agree with your comments about figures. Although some manufacturers (Langley, for one) have large ranges they don't seem to produce much in the way of new items, and the quality varies tremendously. It has become a game, when reading 'Modeller' layout articles, to play 'spot the maker' with the population.

  2. Most of my figures are from Monty's Models or ones I see on stands at exhibitions (remember them?)
