Romsey Model Railway Exhibition March 2020.

 A really enjoyable weekend at the Romsey Exhibition- worth going just for the excellent food!

Just a selection of layouts over the next couple of posts- First up is
Abergynolwyn a new OO9 layout by Andy Cundick based on the line of the same name.

Next is Kunzebrucke, an electrified line in Germany

The Micro layouts group on Facebook run an unusual load section every month- being new, this is my contribution!

009 Society Cattle wagon.

 OK so this has been seen before but not with a comparative loco. In this case it is the Bachmann Baldwin.

The 009 Society Cattle Wagon kit- good value for £12- is a model od an Irish Narrow Gauge prototype and had a gauge of 3ft.

The wheels supplied have been gauged for 9mm track but when run on suitable gauge, run very well.

Some say that this is too big for 009 but these images belie the fact that it looks OK- to me anyway and rule 1 counts!

009 Quarry Siding.

A few pictures of Quarry Siding. The top photo shows QS in it's entireaty.

The layout was built by Paul Levy and needed little in the way of modification by me.

Just as a bit of fun- who's hiding in the tunnel?

RAF Masirah 009 hosts Mosquito.

After finishing the Mosquito, I realise that it hasn't been pictured on the ground at RAF Masirah.

This has now been put to rights after posting on Facebook Micro Layouts which I was recently invited to join.

The Mossie just about fits- measure twice and build once!
