Rail-Ex Taunton October 2018

Some shots of some of my favourites at this years Rail-Ex.

First up is Midford, a superb N gauge layout by Shepton and District MRS.

Next is Dubmill Sidings in O gauge by Steve Thompson.

Sidmouth is a familiar EM gauge layout by Richard Harper.

Bridport Town is a fictional narrow gauge railway modelled in 0 16.5 by David L Taylor and probably my favourite.

Tiverton has been modelled in EM -(18mm gauge) by the Devonshire Place Railway Group. It follows the prototype layout as closely as possible within the available space constraints.

St. Martin's Wharf has been modelled in O gauge by Bob Alderman.
Inspired by the Colonel Stephens railway empire somewhere in East Anglia.

This atmospheric layout, Gas Works, is presented in O gauge set between the 1930's and '50s and is
owned by the Yeovil Railway Group.

Finally is Parkstone Goods by my mate Colin Lockyer.

Modelled in finescale oo gauge and DCC operated with most of the motive power sound fitted.
