The rest of the delivery consisted of Parkers Lockup and Daffodil Cottage together with some  pre-cut slates.

Parkers Lockup is similar to Harpers Yard but without the side building.

Again, this one will be brick faced with a slate covered roof.

Depending on the width of the double doors, I may model them open if a car can be positioned in the doorway. We shall see.

Daffodil cottage will provide relief on the terrace and again will be brick faced.

The terrace will have front doors that open onto the street with passing trams.

Once the buildings are constructed the positioning can be finalised.

What I need now is a pair of City Gates buildings- as Bargates, Southampton to provide scenic breaks.

Below are the pre-cut slates which save an awful lot of time and are consistant in cutting.

Petite Properties Low Relief products.

 Since planning the tram layout, it was my intention to use Petite Properties low relief buildings.

My order from PP recently arrived and are to the usual high standard.

This row will be brick faced and slate roofed. The shop I wanted is currently out of stock but I have enough to be going on with.

For now, Teignford must be recovered from its storage and tested for next weekends Alton Exhibition.

Dundas Models 009 GVT closed wagon.

As a result of having virtually all of the Glyn Valley locos and coaches, I felt that wagon numbers need increasing.

This Dundas kit goes together well with minimum flash. Wheels are supplied which make the kit very reasonable.

The finish will be green as per prototype.

0 Gauge 3 Aitch moulding Midland Van.

OK, so I know the markings are ficticious but, as I haven't any instructions or find a photo of the prototype, then this is how it is going to be. The other reason is I wanted to use the transfers I had rather than buying another sheet. So, for only a few pounds, another wagon ready for the varnish to seal the transfers before fitting couplings.

009 Tram layout overhear wire poles.

These are KATO 2mm items.

To fit 009 the pole needs extending to match the single deck trams which will be used.

On unpacking the mouldings are very fine with no flash whatsoever.

The poles have been cut and a 25mm length of plastic tube added to extend as needed.

Six of these support poles are needed which may have cosmetic wire fitted but will not be used for pick-up.

009 Society Cattle Wagon Kit.

 Fresh in to stock with the 009 Society Sales is this Cattle Wagon made for the Society exclusively by Dundas Models.

Based on an Irish 3ft gauge prototype, wheels are supplied for 9mm gauge.

The parts are well formed and all parts, with the exception of couplings, are included in the kit.

Detents for drilling the .45mm holes for the wire, supplied, guard rails are well formed.

The kit goes together well, this is how far I got in about 3 hours work. The undercoat will be applied after I have researched the livery, whence the top coat will be applied.
