Modification to Greenwich couplings.

Simon Addelsee was showing his narrow gauge layout Hobbiton End at Wilton. This fascinating little layout is inspired by life in the Shires, home of the Hobbits.
Shown to the right is Simons adaptation of the Greenwich coupling for remote uncoupling. When the loop is raised it is caught by the bar on the adjacent wagon which prevents  recoupling.
Pretty ingenious if you ask me but the simplest ideas are usually the best and in this acse will be shamelessly copied!

3mm layoutTeignford For Sale.

After much thought, I have decided to part with Teignford. The storage in the loft is now difficult for me to access and my new workshop is not long enough to erect the entire layout. The layout comes with its custom made lighting and everything that is bolted to, or stuck, to it. No stock is included but can be negotiated. Salisbury & South Wilts Railway Society Exhibition 2017.

 My 3mm layout-Teignford is being shown at the S&SWRS on 13th & 14th May.
Venue is the Michael Herbert Hall, South Street, Wilton, SP2 0JS.
Open 10.30-4.30 on Saturday and 10.00 - 4.30 on Sunday.
Admission is £4 for adults and children £2.
