Part of a recent purchase was this Bachmann weathered China Clay wagon.
This one had GW branding so rather than repaint the whole wagon it had a tarpaulin made to cover its origin.
The tarp is made from a scrunched up Superquick building sheet- pavements in this instance. Then a coat of acrylic blue paint. The finished sheet was folded over and around the wagon with the folds glued and clamped to dry.
All that is needed now is a length of cotten to hold in place.
