Each tram has the motorising chassis underneath.
Some were easier than others and a couple have a bogie chassis whereas the original was four wheeled. This is to enable the tram to negotiate the extremely sharp curves on Cody Street which measures 3ft x 11 inches.
Hi, I'm looking to motorise the green version of the Rathgeber tram using the Kato bogie chassis as you've kindly illustrated here. There are two versions listed, 11-105 and 11-106, but I can't see any real difference - do you have a preference?
ReplyDeleteIt is the 11-105- quite easy to do. Just cut hole in base plate- Minidrill carborundum disc is what I used.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
